Swiss Defence Innovation
Over 12,000 employees in the DDPS, 140,000 members of the armed forces, armed forces development and planning, armasuisse Science & Technology, our procurement organisation in the Federal Office for Armament armasuisse, Swiss universities, the security-relevant armed forces and industrial base (STIB), our strong and innovative SME and start-up scene, and friendly foreign armed forces are working together on innovations for the Swiss Armed Forces. The defence innovation system connects, inspires and coordinates to ensure that our employees and members of the armed forces have the framework conditions they need to fulfil their important mission: defending Switzerland.
