The Swiss Armed Forces Innovation Agency provides the armed forces with innovative solutions quickly and effectively. It empowers people in the armed forces and administration to initiate change in their areas of responsibility.
Why does the armed forces need an innovation agency?
Innovation requires knowledge, experience, implementation power, inspiration, speed and often a breath of fresh air from outside. Employees and members of the Swiss Armed Forces should be able to draw on concentrated innovation expertise. They should be able to drive forward and implement innovations in their field of expertise, even if they have never done so before.
This is where the innovation agency comes in. Swiss Innovation Forces trains, supports and guides our employees in their innovation projects. It operates our innovation platform InnoBase and supports our employees' innovations on their journey through the innovation community and the project. In doing so, they take on a wide range of tasks that lead to the rapid and user-centred implementation of innovations within the Defence Group.
Swiss Innovation Forces were founded on the initiative of the Swiss Armed Forces. They are a privately managed public limited company wholly owned by the Swiss Confederation.
