CISM Orienteering World Championships - Registration

1. Registration by 1 June 2026

The registration deadlines must be strictly respected, late registrations cannot be accepted.

The delegations must declare their interest in participating at the event by completing the Preliminary Agreement by 1 June 2026 (mandatory). Should the Preliminary Agreement not be submitted in time, the Organising Committee will refuse the respective nations to participate.

The registration process is conducted exclusively online via a web platform. You will receive an invitation code to register your mission. Detailed instructions will be provided after the invitation code has been delivered. The event registration will be conducted in three phases.

1. Preliminary Agreement (until 01.06.2026)

2. Final Entry (until 01.09.2026)

3. Late Replacement (until 12.10.2026)

If you have any changes after 01.09.2026, please register them online in the Late Replacement Form. The registration of additional participants during the Late Replacement phase will only be approved by the Organizing Committee if there are still enough accommodation capacities available.

• Conditions of participation

  Only CISM active member nations have the right to participate in CISM events (CISM Regulations, Article 1.10).

  An inactive nation, intending to take part in the event must pay its annual fee before the deadline of the Preliminary Agreement. If it is not done, the delegation will not be able to take part in the event.

  At the request of organizing committee in order to ensure perfect organization, regarding the accommodation capacity, the number of participating countries or participants may be limited.

  The CISM President letter (N°2022/029/CISM/PSDT) dated April 1st, 2022 is an integral part of this file. The principle apply to all countries sanctioned or subject to action directives by the Swiss Confederation.

  Withdrawal from participation (art. 7.27 CISM regulations): Any nation that withdraws from participation in a competition for which it had sent in the final entry,
  shall notify the organizers in writing at least one month before the opening of the competitions with copy to the Secretary General. Any nation not so informing the host nation will be subject to disciplinary action (art. 1.12 CISM regulations).

  Absence of a mission without notification (art. 8.6. CISM regulation): If a mission which submits a preliminary agreement and/or final entry is absent without notifying the host nation in time, a sanction will be imposed (Regulations Art. 1.12).
