Forschungsteam Organizational Behavior & Human Readiness

Modern armed forces depend not only on equipment and doctrine, but on people who stay healthy, capable, and adaptable under pressure and continuous change. The Organizational Behavior & Human Readiness research team examines the organizational conditions that make this possible. We bring a work and organizational psychology perspective to Human Readiness – the sustainable capacity of individuals, teams, and units to perform, stay healthy, and adapt over time. Our research asks how working conditions, careers, collaboration, leadership, and change processes shape that capacity across military and civilian personnel, and how organizations can strengthen it through evidence-based design. In doing so, we connect scientific foundations with the practical questions facing the Swiss Armed Forces, contributing to the development of healthy, learning-oriented, and future-ready organizations.
