Reporting and Counselling Service

 

The WiAD reporting and counselling service is open to all members of the conscript armed forces and employees of the Defence Group (career military personnel, members of the military for peacekeeping service, civilian employees).

• Have you observed someone being harassed because of their gender, religion, sexuality, or other characteristics?
• Are you a conscript cadre seeking advice on how to handle diversity issues?

WiAD is available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

If you are in an emergency situation or want to report something punishable by law, the military police can be reached around the clock (0800 552 333).

You can contact WiAD by phone or email, anonymously if you prefer. Your concerns will be treated with discretion. Any further steps will always be discussed with you in advance.

If you are in dire need or wish to file a legal complaint, the military police can be reached 24/7 at 0800 552 333.
Please note: once the military police become aware of a possible criminal offense, they are obligated to take action.

  If you wish to remain anonymous, do not provide any personal data, such as your name or your relationship to the parties involved. Also, avoid providing any information that could identify you.

  If possible, do not use any technical device (e.g., PC, laptop, smartphone) provided by your employer. In particular, an intranet connection may compromise your anonymity. Ensure the internet connection is secure, as indicated by the padlock symbol next to the address bar.

  Based on the Swiss Federal Constitution and Swiss data protection legislation, every person has the right to protection of their privacy and to protection against misuse of their personal data. WiAD takes measures to ensure your anonymity. It is obliged to comply with the provisions of Swiss law. Accordingly, WiAD will treat the information confidentially within the framework of legal requirements. The data is stored in Switzerland.

  WiAD only releases data (such as names, IP addresses) if it is obliged to do so by law (e.g., to law enforcement authorities).
