Important information for organisers of air display events

The Swiss Air Force display teams take part in many displays and flypasts each year. On this page, you will find all the information you need in order to request a Patrouille Suisse, PC-7 TEAM, Super Puma Display Team, F/A-18 Hornet solo display or a parascouts performance during your event.

The Swiss Air Force receives a great number of requests for displays at a wide variety of events each year, which we try to honour whenever possible, in order to present our aircraft to a wide audience. The pilots flying in the Swiss Air Force aerobatic teams do not fly exclusively as part of that team:

  • The pilots of the Patrouille Suisse, the PC-7 TEAM and the F/A-18 Hornet Solo Display are professional military pilots in the Swiss Air Force professional aviator corps. They are all assigned to F/A-18 squadrons, and in general also work as air force flight instructors.
  • The Super Puma Display Team pilots are also members of the Swiss Air Force professional aviator corps. As operational helicopter pilots and instructors, they are familiar with the entire range of helicopter operations.

These facts require careful coordination of the operational planning process, and therefore, the submission deadline, i.e. 31 October of the year prior to the planned event, must be observed without fail.

Important notice

Please note that in principle the Swiss Air Force is under no obligation to perform at any event. Even after participation has been confirmed in writing, it may be cancelled for reasons of limited resources or if extraordinary events require this in order to guarantee the operational readiness of the armed forces.
