Important information on how to organise a display

The Swiss Air Force teams take part in many displays and flypasts each year, demonstrating the Air Force’s equipment and capabilities in Switzerland and abroad. On this page you will find all the information you need in order to request a Patrouille Suisse, PC-7 TEAM, Super Puma Display Team, F/A-18 Hornet solo display or a parascouts performance during your event.

The Swiss Air Force receive a great number of requests for displays by the teams at a wide range of events each year, which they try to honour whenever possible, in order to present their equipment to a wide audience. But the pilots in the Swiss Air Force aerobatic teams are not exclusively engaged in displays.

  • The pilots of the Patrouille Suisse, the PC-7 TEAM and the F/A-18 Hornet Solo Display are pilots in the Swiss Air Force professional aviator corps. They are all assigned to F/A-18 squadrons, and in general also work as Air Force flight instructors.
  • The pilotes in the Super Puma Display Team are pilots in the Swiss Air Force professional aviator corps as well and, as operational helicopter pilots and instructors, are familiar with the entire range of operations.

Since the display pilots and the parascouts must carry out other duties in addition to their flight display commitments, operational planning of their displays, including both the staff and the equipment, requires excellent coordination. In order for us to plan efficiently, we would ask you to comply with the submission deadlines as follows:

All requests must be submitted in writing by 31 October of the year prior to the planned event. Applicants must send the completed display request form available below in due time to the communication Joint Operations Command (see contact on the right).
