Federal Council elects Anja König to the Innosuisse Board
Bern, 14.05.2025 — On 14 May, the Federal Council elected Anja Isabella König, Global Head of the Novartis Venture Fund, as a member of the Innosuisse Board. She will take up her role on 1 June.
Dr König brings extensive experience in science, consulting, industry and venture capital to the Innosuisse Board. She worked for several years as a consultant at McKinsey. Dr König has held management positions at the Novartis Venture Fund since 2006 and has been its global head since 2017. She holds a PhD in theoretical physics from Cornell University in the United States.
Until 2023, Dr König was a member of the Foundation Council of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). She also served on an expert committee during the pilot phase of the BRIDGE programme, a joint funding programme run by Innosuisse and the SNSF.
