Brigadier General Rihs Markus
Chief of Armed Forces Personnel

Brigadier General Rihs is the Chief of Armed Forces Personnel (J 1) and answers directly to the Chief of Training and Education Command.
The Chief of Armed Forces Personnel is in charge of Recruitment Command, and has overall responsibility for the armed forces manpower and the management of military personnel from recruitment to discharge. In addition, Brigadier General Rihs is in charge of the pastoral care service, the psychological-pedagogic service and the social services of the armed forces.
