Attorney General of the Armed Forces
Brigadier General Flachsmann is the Attorney General of the Swiss Armed Forces. He ensures that the military justice system fulfils its statutory obligations and that the basic conditions are in place for the high-quality administration of justice by the military tribunals. The Attorney General supervises the administration of military justice while respecting the independence of the military tribunals. He ensures that military criminal proceedings are conducted properly and in accordance with the law. He advises and supports the employees of the military justice system and ensures that they receive the required specialist training.
