Brigadier Silvano Barilli


Brigadier General Barilli is head of the Logistics Training Unit and is in charge of basic training for all members involved in the Logistics of the Swiss Armed Forces and is also responsible for the operations of the units assigned to him. He answers directly to the Chief of Training and Education Command. The Commander Logistics Training Unit is Commander of the Recruit Schools, NCO Schools and Officer Schools of members of the Logistic and Medical Corps, of the courses for Senior NCOs, and of the Catering Training Centre. He is also in charge of the Veterinary Service and Military Animals Centre and the Military Driver Training Centre.
