Current information on the courses at the Training Centre SWISSINT and application form.
Please note that course registration forms must be submitted no earlier than 10 weeks before the start of the course. The registration window will close three weeks before the start of the course.
Course registration is not an acceptance to the course. A confirmation will be sent to those accepted to the course. Course places are limited.

Brief description: Introductory course on the handling of the irritant spray device (RSG) and the personal weapon, including their technical and tactical application (ROE), with a focus on the operational area in the Balkans (KFOR and EUFOR). The module is assessed through a test. Participation is restricted to members of the Swiss Armed Forces and employees of the Swiss federal administration who can provide proof of need. Short description: One-day refresher shooting course for personnel required to be armed during international missions. The module concludes with a final examination. Participation is limited to members of the Swiss Armed Forces and employees of the Swiss federal administration who have completed the BWT and can provide the necessary proof of need.

MMPC: 20 October to 30 October 2026 (English)
Brief descripton: this five-day training of trainers course is run as a stand-alone module for Military Medical Personnel in the Balkan Area and the Balkan Medical Task Force. A specialized military medical team prepares for the challenges of international deployment. This course is conducted in Skopje (North Macedonia) and admission is upon invitation only. Support for the Geneva Centres
SPTC (GCSP): 24 August to 4 September 2026 (national and international)
Brief description: The Training Centre SWISSINT offers its expertise to the Geneva Centres. As such the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GSCP) Swiss Peacebuilding Training Course is hosted and conducted in association with TC SWISSINT. The GSCP offers a two week professional training course on peacebuilding on behalf of the Swiss Federal Departement of Foreign Affaires for members of the Swiss Expert Pool for Civilian Peacebuilding and selected international participants. Brief description: The Non-Technical Survey (NTS) course run by the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) is held at the Training Centre SWISSINT. Non-Technical Surveys are essential for determining how to allocate limited resources in the land-release process. It is important that these surveys are of high quality and the necessary emphasis is put into training and equipping NTS teams, coaching their command structures as well as verifying and analysing survey information.
