Armed Forces Joint Staff (AFJS)

The Armed Forces Joint Staff (AFJS) is the operational staff of the Chief of the Armed Forces and in charge of the operations and missions of the armed forces. For this purpose it has resources at its disposal that consist mainly of professional personnel of the armed forces. But in order to accomplish its missions the AFJS has in addition to its professional element also militia units that are portrayed on the following pages.
