Armed Forces Professional NCO School (BUSA)

In the Basic Training Course (BTC/German GAL), which lasts two years, senior sergeant majors, sergeant majors and quartermaster sergeants are given the necessary materials and know-how in order to be able to teach and lead successfully in recruit and cadre schools. In Advanced Training Courses (ATC/ZAL) NCOs who have a certain experience are prepared to take on new functions. More than 1000 professional non-commissioned officers, officers and specialist teachers attend the Supplementary Training Courses (STC/WAK) at the BUSA every year.

Starting from 2008 the BUSA has also become responsible for the basic training of the single term conscripts.
