The EOC is the centre of excellence for electronic operations and information security of the DDPS or of the Confederation. It procures information for the intelligence services of the DDPS and other entitled federal agencies and creates conditions for electronic warfare and signal intelligence operations of Command Support Brigade 41, controls the respective assignments and provides operational support. It also establishes capacities and provides services relating to computer network operations.
The work of the EOC is based on corresponding laws, ordinances and directives. They serve as control mechanisms for obtaining information.
