Armed Forces Command Support Organisation - AFCSO

By providing command support with the integration of other service providers within and outside the defence sector, the Command Support Organisation (CSO) provides for the command and control of the armed forces and national crisis management in all situations. At the same time, the CSO is responsible for national and international interoperability with regard to command support at the operational level.

The goal of the Command Support Organisation is to give operational support to the political and military leadership of Switzerland.

Command support in the Swiss Armed Forces comprises telecommunication, IT, electronic warfare and signal intelligence, electronic airspace surveillance with radars, cryptology, language specialists, command and control services and headquarters services.
