Joint Training (J7)

Joint Functional Area 7, Training/Readiness, is structured into four parts:

  • Readiness planning
  • Readiness management / interoperability and international issues
  • Services planning

The Services Planning sector is responsible for compiling multi-year planning for the coming three to five years and services planning which begins two years ahead of actual implementation. This data are published approx. six months before the planned year in the Internet and about three months before the planned year as military draft poster.

The Leadership Training Centre in Riedbach is a central training establishment with three main missions: training of trainers, conduct of certification tests and compilation and development of training documents.
