Swiss HF forecast: Explanations
Forecast sheets
- The forecasts are developed several months in advance with the ASAPS calculation software
- The sunspot numbers of the Belgian Royal Observatory are used for the calculation
- The forecasts are effective within a range of 150 km above the centre located in Bern. They are sufficiently precise for any radio link within Switzerland
- The working frequencies should be below the FOT. Frequencies around the FOT provide the strongest receptor electromagnetic fields
